A handcrafted collection celebrating the timeless connection between harvest and home.
The Harvest Library Collection features three book-inspired cutting boards and a solid walnut display stand, each "volume" dedicated to a different path to the table:
Field to Table – An edge-grain walnut board designed for preparing wild game, beef, poultry, and other proteins.
Garden to Table – An edge-grain walnut board ideal for vegetables, herbs, fruits, and fresh garden harvests.
Stream to Table – A face-grain maple board specifically crafted for fish preparation. The tight grain structure of maple helps minimize the absorption of fish oils and odors while providing a durable working surface.
Each board measures 11" x 9" and features a striking maple and Purple Heart spine detail, creating the appearance of a classic book when displayed in the included walnut stand.
The edge-grain construction of the Field to Table and Garden to Table boards is gentle on knife edges, helping preserve sharpness while standing up to years of use. Together, the collection offers dedicated surfaces for preparing food from the field, garden, and stream while creating a beautiful countertop display when not in use.
Each board is carefully grain-popped during the finishing process to raise and remove loose wood fibers before final sanding, helping the surface remain exceptionally smooth through repeated use and washing. The boards are then treated with Walrus Oil® food-safe mineral oil and wax, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood while providing lasting protection.
